It has taken me a few months to make time for this review but I wanted to make sure I get around to it. Tucson doulas is amazing. The company mission is fantastic. Angela is quick to respond to inquiries and answer all questions. She was very helpful in deciding what team I should meet for doula support. She said that I could meet the team and if it wasn't a good fit I could request to meet another team. But she was so good at matching me with the right team for me I didn't need to meet anyone else. Colleen and Mona were my doula team. They were so supportive throughout my pregnancy and provided so many useful tips and resources. My parents are no longer around and this was my first pregnancy so there were so many emotions and feelings. They were very understanding and they felt like mom figures when I wasn't able to have mine to consult. During my labor process, having Colleen there gave me such a calming mind set knowing I had someone in addition to my husband that would vouch for me and my needs when I couldn't. I would recommend Tucson doulas and couldn't more highly recommend Mona and Colleen as your doula team!

From the very beginning, my experience with Tucson Doulas was exceptional. I first spoke with Angela, who took the time to get to know me, my personality, and what I was hoping for in my birth experience before thoughtfully pairing me with the perfect doula team.
I was matched with Ashley and Marie, and they were both absolutely incredible. Ashley came to our home to teach our labor and newborn care classes, which made the experience so comfortable and personalized. She was knowledgeable, encouraging, and gave us so much confidence heading into labor and parenthood.
Marie was my labor doula, and I truly cannot imagine going through my birth without her. Throughout my pregnancy, both Ashley and Marie took the time to understand my goals, fears, and preferences. They never pushed an agenda and instead, they educated me on every option, helped me think through the pros and cons of different decisions and interventions, and empowered me to make informed choices that felt right for me in each moment. I always felt supported, respected, and in control.
After delivery, I struggled with postpartum sleep and decided to use Tucson Doulas’ overnight postpartum doula services. Courtney stepped in, and she was just as wonderful. Her calm, compassionate presence allowed me to get much-needed rest while knowing my baby was in loving, capable hands.
Every woman I worked with was thoughtful, intelligent, experienced, and genuinely caring. The continuity of support, from pregnancy, to birth, to postpartum, made such a meaningful difference in my experience as a first-time mom.
I wholeheartedly recommend Tucson Doulas to anyone looking for compassionate, evidence-based, empowering support. They were one of the best investments we made, and I will absolutely be using them again for our next baby.

Our Tucson Doula team, Colleen and Mona, were perfect for us as we prepared and labored our first child. With all of the unknowns and questions that comes with child birth, they answered and educated us on everything we needed to know. With Colleen as our coordinator, Mona was such a fantastic advocate and was present during the entirety of labor. I highly recommend using Tucson Doulas whether it’s your first or last baby!

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience with tucson doulas! From the first conversation I had with Angela about what my journey could look like having the support of a doula for labor, to actually having that support the day of delivery, it was so comforting and made such a difference compared to when we had our first daughter. We were blessed to be able to work with Mona and Colleen as our doulas and I truly am SO grateful for their support and guidance through the second half of my pregnancy. Without Mona in the delivery room with me I truly don’t think I would have been able to have the unmedicated birth I had hoped for. I wish I had had both Mona and Colleen during my first pregnancy. If we find ourselves in the season of expecting a third baby, they will be my first phone call so that I can have their support again. I cannot recommend Tucson doulas, and more specifically, Mona and Colleen, enough.

Marie and Ashley were both excellent resources of knowledge and confidence building for the prep of the birth of our daughter. I cannot recommend enough seeking out them as your doulas. On the day I delivered it was Marie who attended my birth. Her calm energy, confidence and compassion encouraged me to get through a very long labor. Marie and Ashly were total game changers for our natural delivery. Marie was spectacular, guiding us through every position to aid dilation and advocating fiercely for us and our baby.
We felt incredibly cared for during our baby’s arrival. They are reliable, responsive, and exactly who you want in your delivery room. They went the extra mile! We would choose them again in a heartbeat!

After working with a doula team in Utah for my first birth, I knew I wanted a similar experience when we moved to AZ in my third trimester with our second baby. Marie and Ashley were wonderful, getting to know us and our toddler before the birth, and checking in regularly afterwards. We both really appreciated having an advocate in the room during labor and delivery, and knowing someone was thinking about our wellbeing throughout the process. We’d recommend the Tucson Doulas team highly!

I’m writing this review as a dad who had the opportunity to work with Tucson Doulas, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the experience. From the very beginning, they brought positivity, and incredibly helpful information into a situation that can feel overwhelming. I work in healthcare and honestly wasn’t sure what doulas really brought to the equation. I was skeptical at first, and I’ve never been happier to be wrong.
Our prenatal meetings were full of education and reassurance, and they made both my wife and me feel genuinely prepared for the process ahead. They consistently checked in, read the room, and had an amazing sense of humor that helped keep everything grounded and human. When labor started, they were a well oiled machine, tag teaming communication and support. My wife had an extended labor, and with their guidance we felt confident and safe laboring at home. When we went to the hospital and found out she was only one centimeter dilated, they helped us reframe the moment, reminding us that this was part of the journey and not a disappointment, but a step toward meeting our baby. When we returned the next day and things had progressed, another unexpected challenge came up. The doula helped us navigate what otherwise would have been a very scary situation. In the end, we welcomed a precious baby girl.
Tucson Doulas supported us not only as a couple and first time parents, but also supported me as a dad, helping me show up for my partner in a way that honored her wishes even when plans changed. To Colleen and Mona, thank you! I cannot recommend them highly enough to the people of Tucson.

We had the most incredible experience with Coleen and Mona as our doulas. They guided us through every step of my wife's birth, including her successful VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean), with such expertise and calm, which made the entire process feel incredibly smooth. As a partner, it was a huge relief and comfort having their skilled help and support, which allowed me to be fully present for my family. I can’t recommend working with Tucson Doulas more! We worked specifically with Colleen and Mona, with Colleen being our point person and attending our birth. As first-time parents, having Colleen and Mona to walk us through birth preferences and provide support during pregnancy was invaluable.
Without going into too much detail, nothing about our birth experience went as planned and we were SO thankful to have Colleen with us to keep us informed, talk through options, and provide comfort during the stressful times. I would 100% work with Tucson Doulas again for any future pregnancies!

Hiring the Tucson Doulas was such a great experience! I loved having the in person conversations before birth and then having Mona in person for the hospital birth! Mona was so kind and compassionate and cared for my needs during the labor and delivery. If I were to get pregnant again, these are the doulas I would call!
